Melt pressure transmitter DSI -series

Our DSI series melt pressure transmitters with integrated amplifiers are most commonly used in plastic extrusion worldwide when additional evaluation devices are not required. The special membrane technology ensures maximum durability and provides reproducible measurement results. Depending on the type of mass pressure sensor, standardized output signals (0-10 VDC or 0/4-20 mA) are provided.

KMK's melt pressure sensors operate based on the established principle of strain gauge technology.

Melt pressure transmitter DSI1

Our melt pressure transmitters with integrated amplifier are available in various shaft configurations and optionally with a reinforced 2.4610 membrane. As an alternative to the standard 6-pin connector, a fixed connection of various lengths with open cable ends can be selected upon request.

Melt pressure transmitter DSI2

KMK melt pressure transmitter with integrated amplifier and flexible capillary. The capillary is protected by a robust protective spring, allows the transducer to be mounted flexibly in case of thermal radiation or limited space. The corresponding mounting part is included in the scope of delivery. Optionally, the sensor can be equipped with a reinforced 2.4610 diaphragm.

Melt pressure transmitter with integrated amplifier, union shaft and exposed capillary. Optionally, the sensor is available with a reinforced membrane made of 2.4610.
